SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability is at our core. Here is how we are doing our part.

At Our Core

At MILLA MILLA, sustainability is at the heart of our business. We take great care to consider our impact in everything we do.

Our commitment to sustainability drives us to constantly learn, improve, and aspire to do better and be better.

We invite you to join us and the many other incredible sustainable Australian brands in advocating for action and change towards a more sustainable future.

Ingredients

We use a curated collection of natural perfume ingredients and naturally-derived and safe synthetics in our fragrances.

This blend has been designed to bring out the best of both worlds, without compromising the impact on the planet.

While we prioritise local, Australian-grown extracts, we also source some of our perfume ingredients sustainably from overseas to ensure our products are of the highest quality and scent structure in our fragrances.

Production

All of our fragrances are developed, hand-filled, bottled and packed in small batches on Gadigal Land, Sydney, Australia.

This approach ensures the highest level of care, quality and attention to detail and helps us to reduce our carbon footprint, avoid mass production minimise and waste.

As a result of this, from time to time our perfumes may only be available for pre-order.

Packaging & Bottles

We prioritise environmentally responsible practices, which is why our packaging is intentionally minimal, with no wasted elements.
The materials we do use are made from high-quality, environmentally responsible carton board. These are manufactured under strict environmental management systems, using elemental chlorine free pulp, sourced from certified sustainably managed plantations and printed with soy-based inks.
Our bottles are sustainably made from the highest quality glass by Pochet du Courval in France. Our shipping packaging is 100% compostable and recyclable.

We have removed all non-essential plastics from our packaging. Currently, the atomiser hose is the only component that still contains plastic. However, we are actively working towards removing this.

Giving Back

We partner with sustainable growers, suppliers and charities to give back to and support the industry and community through donations and collaborations.

We aim to “close the loop” so that our success as a business can help sustain the industries and environment we so deeply depend on.

We’re always learning, improving and aspiring to do better.
